Canoeing/Kayaking

The lodge comes with two canoes and two kayaks. The lodge is located on Soft Maple Reservoir, midway on the Beaver River Canoe Route. Experience Adirondack canoeing and kayaking at its best - a venture down one of the finest waterways the Western Adirondacks has to offer. The Beaver River is easy to paddle with plenty of flat water; however there are several sections that offer expert rapids during release times of the year. These sections are also portages along the Beaver River Canoe Trail for those that are not up to it or when the section is not flowing. Check out these links to view class IV-VI rapids. The Eagle Section flows into Soft Maple Reservoir, not far from the lodge.
